PORTLAND, Ore.—A social event and silent auction hosted Jan. 28 by Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub raised $57,305 for St. Andrew Nativity School, the Pacific Northwest’s only tuition-free, private middle school serving low-income, at-risk students of all faiths.

“We want to thank everyone for their incredible generosity,” said Lucille McAleese, Kells co-owner along with husband Gerard McAleese. “To all those who donated auction items, those who purchased them and everyone who helped in some way, we say thank you for making this event more successful than we ever dreamed.”

The social and silent auction at Kells in downtown Portland, brought in more than $57,000 for the private middle school that educates low-income, at-risk students.

The $57,305 raised for St. Andrew will help the school with its programs for low-income and at-risk youth of all faiths.
